Alice Walton

Alice Walton began curating Schools and Teachers programmes at Tate Modern in 2007, in 2010 becoming Convenor for Schools and Teachers programmes at Tate Modern and Tate Britain in a collaborative job share with Leanne Turvey. In this role they head a large cross-site team developing artist-led programmes for teachers and students such as the recent We Forgot The Lot!, Harold Offeh’s Live Art Salon, Alex Schady’s Misguided for the Tanks programme and Natasha Kidd and Jo Addison’s Noticer. Alice was previously Education Coordinator at the Metropole Gallery in Kent and has run the Education Programme for Whitstable Biennale since 2002, and is a practicing artist.  (Updated 2015)
