Emily Gagnon

Part of the boingboing community of practice which supports resilience research and practice and is based in Brighton, with members in other parts of the UK and beyond (www.boingboing.org.uk). The University of Brighton supports this community and many of its members, including the authors, either work or study there. Through boingboing, community organisations come together with universities to develop and apply resilience research. Between them the authors have arts for health, resilience, mental health and occupational therapy backgrounds. They have published extensively on these topics and produced many creative outputs in collaboration with community partners. Their funding sources include the Economic and Social Research Council, the Arts and Humanities Research Council, local councils, charities and the NHS. (Updated 2015)
