The Clore Short Course Leadership Programme
5 - 16 June 2017
Clore are looking for ambitious and creative individuals who aspire to lead and make a difference. You must have at least five years’ paid work experience in the arts, museums and/or libraries sector and to be eligible for a place subsidised by Arts Council England you must be working in England.
The course is suitable for people working in organisations as well as freelance artists and people working independently.
Some unsubsidised places may be available to applicants who do not meet the above criteria but priority is given to those who meet Arts Council England's criteria. We aim to increase the diversity of leadership in arts and culture and would particularly welcome applications from BAME or disabled leaders who are currently under-represented in leadership across the sector.
“It enabled a truly special group dynamic of openness, trust, respect and support. This in itself taught me so much about how I relate to and connect with other people" Short Course Participant, February 2015
The course blends real-life examples with group work, practical skills and tools. Your active participation is encouraged and you will be expected to challenge and stretch yourself. Sharing with and learning from each other features strongly across the fortnight.
