Everyone - Improving access to galleries in Scotland for disabled people
The Everyone project took place between March 2010 March 2012, and explored and supported the development of access and disability equality in galleries and visual arts venues in Scotland. There is also information and notes from the first Everyone Seminar in July 2010, with video documentation of presentations and outcomes of open space questions.
Mapping of Training Opportunities for Teaching Artists in Scotland
engage Scotland was part of the advisory group for this research by Bop consulting looking at training opportunities for artists who deliver education programmes in both formal and informal settings. We are continuing discussions around taking this work further with the Creative Scotland Education Department and other art form learning organisations. Interpretations was a research project investigating the role of interpretation in breaking down barriers to access to contemporary visual art in four art galleries in Scotland. The project ran between October 2007 - May 2008. Click here for full details.
