has an online database of training opportunities - in the UK and abroad - that
helps you search for opportunities to progress your own training/professional
development as a gallery educator, artist educator or other visual arts or
education professional.
engage's database includes:

engage training events and seminars in Scotland and Wales

local, regional, national seminars and conferences

university, further education and other training courses.
As an

Full member, once logged in above, you can also submit training or course
details for inclusion. The events database aims in particular to promote key
knowledge, methodologies and skills for good practice in gallery education.

At present there are few courses which focus on gallery education; engage is
campaigning for more. Recent or ongoing courses include:

Institute of Education 'Learning in Galleries' course (occasional)

Institute of Education 'Museum and Gallery Education' MA (with V&A and
British Museum) (annual)
Some university Museum or Gallery studies courses include a museum or gallery
education unit, which can be accessed separately. Some galleries and museums
(eg Tate) have developed their own training programmes for artist-educators.
