Liverpool Hope University and venues across the city, 13 & 14 October 2016, with Fringe events taking place on the 12 and 15 October 2016.

Social media

The Engage International Conference 2016 explored how issues of access and activism impact on gallery and visual arts approaches to education and outreach. Delegates and contributors were encouraged to use the #engageinLiverpool hashtag to join in the conversation before, during and after, and did so to great effect - sharing photos, thoughts and even sketches of their conference experience and connecting conference themes and aims with a wider audience. Media partners Axisweb selected artist Nicole Mollett as their 2016 guest blogger. Nicole staged a Twitter and Instagram takeover for Axisweb, and reports back on her experiences here.

Laura Harris attended conference for a-n, and gives a full report here.
