Anthony Lam

Anthony Lam is a photographic artist who is primarily concerned with interrogating, exploring and expanding his relationship with and to the photographic image. Lam’s diverse practice is located within conceptual, representational and 201 social concerns, addressing issues of identity, culture and place from a personal and social political viewpoint. Lam has collaborated with many different organisations (including The Photographers’ Gallery, Barbican Centre, Brighton Photo Biennial, Chisenhale Gallery, Chinese Arts Centre, Hayward Gallery, Mass Observation Archive, V&A Museum of Childhood, Museum of London, National Portrait Gallery, The National Trust, PhotoVoice and the V&A) and individuals; devising, facilitating and engaging with the public, creating new perspectives and experiences centred around and about contemporary society.
