Gözde Filinta is a curator, researcher, and writer based in Zurich. She has taken part in many various art projects since 2012, including The Moving Museum 2014 and Yama Istanbul 2016. Between 2017 and 2018, she took part in SALT as a programme assistant and worked as the Project Coordinator at OJ Art Space, Istanbul.
She completed her MA in Art History at Istanbul University; her research on animal figures in contemporary art. She is currently researching multispecies survival in the Anthropocene and the use of art narratives for her ongoing MAS programme at ZHdK in curating. She continues working on her curatorial projects in Zurich and Istanbul, and is passionately interested in urgent global issues, interspecies relation and the non-human in artistic expressions and narratives.
