Johanna Korndorfer

Johanna Korndorfer has over fifteen years’ experience developing art, Steiner-based education and environmental play projects for children, young people and families. She has collaborated on and produced three ‘hands on’ exhibitions for children called Painting Factory, Art Doh! Factory and Construction Capers. The exhibitions explored the connection between children’s creativity and the use of simple materials. She is a founding parent of the Exeter Kindergarten Project, which has since developed into the Exeter Steiner School. From May 2006, she has been the education/community coordinator for the Centre for Contemporary Art and the Natural World in Devon, which was launched in April that year. The gallery has been part of the South West cluster for the first two phases of the enquire programme. The cluster has been researching democratic learning and choicemaking with young people.
