Michaela Crimmin

Michaela Crimmin has worked extensively as a curator / producer of art in the public domain – commissioning artists to respond to a variety of contexts including hospitals, businesses and the Fourth Plinth in Trafalgar Square. Following a period directing Art for Architecture for the RSA, she initiated Arts & Ecology which she runs on behalf of the Royal Society of the Arts and Arts Council England. Recently she was elected a ‘London Leader’ by the Mayor of London and the London Sustainability Commission and is a Trustee for Channel 4’s current Big Art Project. She also teaches on the Royal College of Arts’ Curating Contemporary Art MA programme. (Updated 2008)
