Nanna Lüth

Nanna Lüth is an artist and practical theorist who conducts research on art/mediation, gender and sexuality from a feminist-queer perspective. She undertook her PhD, ‘On evidence production and monster making: (Sexual) orientation in sexuological and artistic diagrams of the 20th/21st century’ at the University Oldenburg. She worked as Artistic Assistant for gendernet, Berlin University of the Arts from 2001 to 2007 and was co-curator of the exhibitions 1-0-1 intersex: the two-gender system as human rights violation and Art for Change: Loraine Leeson, both at NGBK Berlin in 2005; and Enough with the nonsense already! Interventions in advertising, at arttransponder, Berlin (2007, with Wiebke Trunk). She has cocurated exhibitions and conferences and has been an Art Mediator for the Edith Russ Site for Media Art in Oldenburg since 2008. (Updated 2011)
