Terry Chinn

Now based in the South Wales valleys, Terry Chinn has worked with artists and community groups in socially engaged and participatory practice for over 30 years, including working with the Trinidadian artist and performer Mary-Ann Roberts. In 1995 Terry set up Mill Lane Artists’ Studios in an underused building in what has now become the Cardiff Cafe Quarter and established the Quality of Life Arts Project that was active for 10 years. He has been supported by the Arts Council of Wales and the British Council to study the arts in social contexts in Trinidad, Java and Barcelona.
