COVID-19 update

In response to the latest government guidance relating to COVID-19 (or Coronavirus), and in order to priorities the health and wellbeing of our members, audiences and staff, Engage has made the following changes to our operations.  

Engage will continue to advocate for the gallery and visual arts education sector across the UK and internationally. We will support Engage Scotland, Engage Cymru, Engage Area Groups and our members, increasing our digital presence to share Engage and our members’ practice over the coming months. 

Operations and communications 

Our central office team are working remotely and our central office phone line is currently closed. Please contact staff via email or by phone. Staff contact details can be found here.

We will continue to update our social media channels (FacebookTwitter and Instagram) and encourage you to contact us via these with questions, comments, or to reach out to colleagues in the sector. 


All upcoming Engage events will now be hosted online. Please check the events and opportunities page to see what is available.


We will process all purchases and renewals via our website and provide a digital confirmation of membership. However, we are unable to process phone payments, send out a welcome pack or membership card at this time.
