The School Community will each have a postcard to draw/paint/sketch a view from their real or imagined natural world.
Through this activity, the children can compare the natural world to a man-made environment. They can explore how the natural world changed through Lockdown and also what lies ahead for the natural world.
On the other side of the postcard they can write about their views on the natural world and their hopes for the future of the natural world. Our school sits in inner London, so comparisons with natural and man-made world are part of their everyday experiences.
They can explore artists who are famous for painting window views (Matisse, Dufy) and they can be used as a starting point for some of our children.
This event is open to the public.
