Do I need to be an Engage member to register an event?
No, registration is open to Engage members and non-members. Venues of all types and sizes are invited to register, from libraries to community, heritage venues, outdoor learning spaces, schools and of course museums and galleries. Individual artists and makers can also register events and activities.
Does my event need to be open to the public?
No, you are welcome to register events which are closed (e.g. taking place in a school or with a focused group) and open (bookable). Please note that we encourage venues to make their events free to attend and make use of materials families might have around the house.
Our venue/organisation is running events for children and young people, can I register these events?
Yes, please do!
Our venue/organisation has resources and activities for children and young people available online, can we register these?
Yes! Children’s Art Week is a great opportunity to revisit this material. In 2020, Children’s Art Week is focusing on three themes, so think about how your activity can respond to these.
I’ve registered my event; when will it be live online?
Events will be live from the week of 8 June 2020. It may take up to three days for your event to be made live — we’ll be in touch when it is up online.
I have listed my Children’s Art Week event on another website — how do I acknowledge Children’s Art Week?
To make it clear that your event is part of Children’s Art Week please download and use the Children’s Art Week logos alongside details about your event on your websites, emails and in print.
Where possible please include the following acknowledgement:
