An opportunity to connect and share with creative practitioners, learning and participation colleagues in South Wales and learn about projects and initiatives in the region.
Contributors include Emily Laurens, Oriel Myrddin talking about Pillars of Society – a project is a response to the national (and international) debate around statues, monuments and colonial history which provided an opportunity to discuss race, equality, diversity, Welsh identity and language, and the experience of Wales as coloniser and colonised.
We will also be joined by Sean Kenny, new Digital Learning and Engagement Officer, National Museum Wales to hear about a new Contemporary Art Project.
Who is the meeting suitable for?:
Open to creative practitioners and anyone working in visual arts education and participation. The event is targeted at colleagues in South Wales, however colleagues from elsewhere in Wales or the rest of the UK are welcome to attend.
