The National Maritime Museum has a popular programme of family activities that runs across the year. As we come out of lockdown, the Family Programme is responding to new needs amongst family audiences.

Across the last year, families with children with special educational needs have faced huge challenges with support and resources reduced or removed, with changes to routine forced, and with uncertainty around the future all impacting their wellbeing.

This programme will focus on local families with children with special educational needs. The programme will give families the opportunity to participate, explore and express themselves using a wide range of sensory resources inspired by the Museum and its themes.

We are looking for an experienced creative/artistic facilitator to develop and deliver the programme.

To apply please send your CV and covering letter to families@rmg.co.uk by 14th June, midday.
