Guitar Festival Family Day – Landfill Rhythms

Come along to the Floral Pavilion on Father’s Day,  Sunday 16 June – Guitar Festival Family Day and make your own recycled ukulele and be a part of the International Guitar Festival.

Margarine tubs and recycled wood – who would think a musical instrument could come from these items? The four free bookable workshops have been made possible through a collaboration with the Liverpool City Region’s Borough of Culture (Wirral) and the Year of the Environment.

Expert tutors from Wirral’s own Melody Maker’s will guide you through the construction. Bring your family and have a fun day and become a guitar hero and play some LANDFILL RHYTHMS. Then join us on the 21 June at Marine Point with your instrument to join in with Summer Solstice Strum – part of Make Music Day.

For children and their families with children aged 8-15

Sessions at 10:00 am, 11:00 am, 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm
