Event title: GLAM club
Date: Wednesday 17th February
Time: 3.00pm – 4.00pm
Max Number of Attendees: 20
It’s simple. GLAM club is like a book club, but for Gallery, Library, Archive and Museum events, initiated by the Engage London area group representatives. We attend an online public event and at a later date we meet as a group to discuss the ideas and issues raised. This is for anyone working in gallery and visual arts education looking to discuss ideas and practices relevant to our sector.
For our first meeting we have chosen a panel discussion, DECOLONISING THE ARCHIVE at South London Gallery on Tuesday 16th February at 6PM https://www.southlondongallery.org/events/panel-discussion-decolonising-the-archive/
We will meet on Wednesday 17th February 3-4pm to talk about and share our thoughts and experience of the discussion. This is also an opportunity to share interesting reading or other resources we know about and make new connections with colleagues. Conversation will be relaxed and informal, come with a cup of tea, biscuits and ready to share your thoughts.
Please remember to book your place at the South London Gallery event, and then book a place at this GLAM club meeting on the Engage website.
Both events are free.
We would love to hear your ideas and suggestions for future GLAM Club discussions. Please email suggestions to Anna Murray, Engage London Area Group representative firstname.lastname@example.org
