Luna Park school project

This project forms a part of Aspex’s summer programme, Luna Park. The programme is celebrating the 10th anniversary of a temporary public artwork that was very highly regarded in the Portsmouth community — a 16 metre high dinosaur!

We are working with St George’s beneficial school in Portsea to remotely deliver workshops for the vulnerable and key worker children still attending school during the pandemic. Following a teacher training session with artist Alison Carlier, the teachers will deliver 3 workshops around the themes of Children’s Art Week and responding to the Luna Park celebrations. The outcomes will be displayed in the gallery as a community exhibition when we reopen in August.

Please note: This is a private event.
