This fun animation workshop is inspired by the Mayflower 400 anniversary and has been designed as a video tutorial by digital artist Trevor Woolery. Be inspired to make a model Mayflower ship, then set sail across an animated ocean to a new world and capture the action in a GIF!
Visit Inspire: Culture, Learning and Libraries website to find Trevor’s tutorial, we’d love to see the voyages you create. Use #mayflower400movies to share your GIFs on Facebook.
There are lots of things you could use to make scenery and props for you GIF. Why not try a blue jumper for the sea and an empty margarine tub for the ship. Above all have fun – and don’t forget to share your GIFs with us.
We would advise you to use children’s safety scissors if you are making scenery and props with children.
This event is open to the public.
