What is ‘authentic’ gallery-led arts engagement within the digital realm?

An event for gallery and community educators, artists, freelancers and creatives.

Engage Yorkshire hosts a Zoom meeting to explore ideas on participation and learning delivered by gallery managed digital platforms.  Contributions by Engage members Gaby Lees and Janette Robinson will begin and end the conversation, Engage member and Associate Director of Arts and Culture at the University of Exeter Sarah Campbell with share some thoughts that begin to map out some of the issues that play a role in our digital content planning.

This event aims to be relaxed and exploratory. Please provide yourself with snacks and a drink and a comfortable place to sit. You will need to have to hand:

  • A sheet of A4 paper
  • Scissors
  • A ball of string/wool/thread
  • A fruit or vegetable of your choice

It is hosted by the Engage Yorkshire Area Group and those from outside this region are welcome to attend. The Zoom meeting ID will be sent in advance of the event. We also intend to record this event for those who cannot attend, and to archive discussions for new members. Please let us know if you have any concerns about participating in a recorded event so that we can make sure appropriate measures are in place.
