Enriching arts education with digital engagement

West Midlands Area Group Meeting
Monday 18 June 2018, 1-4pm

MAC, Birmingham

Join us for a hands on opportunity to explore digital opportunities within gallery and arts education. 


Sonia Russell Saunders, Courses and Participation Manager, MAC
Learn about MAC’s ‘Little Geeks’ and Digital explorer courses for children and young people. Workshops include design, coding and electronics.

Jessica Hartshorn, Senior Learning and Outreach Officer, Rugby Art Gallery and Museum
Use green screen technology on a budget. A response to the ‘About face’ exhibition, helping visitors and schools ‘jump into the artwork’ using simple technology.

There will also be an opportunity to discuss training needs in the sector and sources of funding to support digital programming and projects.

There will also be an opportunity to see the current exhibitions at MAC towards the end of the meeting.

Area Group Meetings are free of charge to Engage members, and members from any region are invited to attend.

Non-members are welcome to attend one 'taster' meeting for an entrance fee of £5 (non-members who have attended a meeting before please contact Engage or click here to find out about the benefits of joining Engage.
