Just what the Artist ordered: Health, Wellbeing and Arts Education

This Engage event will explore examples of current arts learning, health and wellbeing collaborative practice in London at the Kentish Town Health Centre on Friday 22 February, 2-5pm.

If you missed out on the Engage conference in November A Social Prescription: Collaborations through Arts, Health and Wellbeing this is your opportunity to have a bite-sized look at programmes taking place in and around London.

Speakers will introduce their experience of developing and delivering health and wellbeing arts programmes addressing the challenges and opportunities of working across sectors. 
- Daniel Regan will introduce the creative learning programmes at Kentish Town Health Centre and talk about examples from his freelance practice working with health service providers across London.
 - Sarah Fairbairn, Senior Education Officer: Access and Hospital Outreach Programmes at the Wallace Collection and Kate Pleydell, Arts Project and Engagement Coordinator, Imperial Health Charity will talk about the Wallace on the Ward project and working together.
 - Helena Copsey, Arts Manager will introduce the arts programme at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

The session will include presentations, discussion and networking. The meeting is an opportunity for all colleagues working in galleries, museums and education to catch up, network and share practice for arts health and wellbeing across the city. Light refreshments will be provided.
